It’s simple, FREE and delivered in your time of need: Dishin’ Up Some Love is a non-profit organization that provides meals to families facing difficult unexpected long term circumstances due to various health complications or the sudden passing of a loved one. During times like these the last thing anyone should worry about is getting a home cooked meal on the table. Often times the family and friends closest to the situation need a break from the long term service of providing meals to the family in need.
Dishin’ Up Some Love assembles & freezes meals that will feed 4-6 people. The meals will then be delivered to those families in need on a bi-weekly basis for an "as needed" time period. The best part of our time is sitting, talking and building a personal friendship with each family that receives meals from us. Founder, Kirsten Shabaz loves to cook; why she's even cooked for Paula Deen! However, making meals that help others in the community is what her heart desires to do most. Volunteers at Dishin' Up Some Love share her vision and passion to help families experiencing difficult times.
